Elyssa and I met at a social media & marketing workshop last year, and when she later posted looking for someone to chat with about photography over coffee, I jumped right in. Elyssa is a fellow Bellingham Photographer, and you can find her work here: Elsa & Co Photography. We both planned to attend Photo Lush this February, a Bellingham workshop for photographers, and we liked the idea of trading a few portraits on our lunch break. Elyssa knew the perfect spot: Clark Viewpoint. I had never been there before, but it quickly became my new favorite spot! We had 10-15 minutes to dash through the trails, capture portraits of each other, and run back to the car before the next workshop speaker began. I had a blast, and I feel inspired and ready for another year of photography. The distant fog combined with the textures of Elyssa's scarf and sweater is my favorite thing about this quick lunch break session. We truly live in a beautiful place.
