Lari (pronounced Lottie) has a bold and beautiful heart, and I love the way she put so much of her personality into her graduation session: purple lipstick, Brazilian flag, a favorite t-shirt, and a special location that means so much to Lari and her family. What a perfect way to celebrate her graduation from Western!
We chose Clark Viewpoint in Fairhaven for Kayla's senior portrait mini session, and though we left with some great shots, the lighting in her driveway was even better! It just goes to show that you don't need to travel far for the best portrait locations. :)
Brittany and I are classmates in the Human Services Program at Western Washington University, and I was so excited when her family contacted me about senior portraits. After many emails, the two of us met at WWU in front of Old Main. After all, it was a Saturday, so campus would be empty, right? Wrong. The entire campus was packed full of newly admitted students for Western Preview. Thankfully we decided to go ahead with the session anyway, and they cleared out just in time for some photos in front of Old Main.
I have known Lily for over a year now, and I really respect how kind, genuine, and smart she is. To celebrate the incredible person she has become, and all the great things she's going to do for the world, we captured grad portraits for her in a short, beautiful, rainy walk across campus. I can't wait to follow along with all that she does for the world!
