Laughter! Looking back through Karen and Jake's wedding images, that's the theme I see running throughout their entire gallery. These two radiated joy all day long and surrounded themselves with people who were ready to celebrate that. They included autumn colors, board games, a private first dance, baseball on the big screen at cocktail hour, and Sour Patch Kids to snack on in between it all. Scroll through and take a peek my favorite images!

This was such a dreamy engagement session! Amanda, Casey, and I explored Hovander Park during golden hour in August. We included two outfits, the expansive grassy fields, tree-lined pathways, and all the colorful dahlias and sunflowers.
Morgan & Joe shared a small ceremony and large reception at Pemberton Farm in Snohomish, WA. They were present to greet all of their guests as they arrived, and this made for so many candid images full of joy, laughter, and big hugs! We moved into the hanger for dinner, toasts, and dancing. The space is adorned with dreamy white draping and twinkle lights, and it created such a beautiful, well-lit space for their evening. We finished with golden sunset portraits, yard games, and the sweetest little ice cream cart. Take a peek at all my favorites from their day here!
After photographing their engagement and wedding, I had the absolute joy of having Mackenzie and Bryan back for a couple's maternity session! Bryan booked these photos as a surprise Christmas gift for Mackenzie, and it was such an honor to be included in another big event in their lives. We've known each other for a decade now, and they'll always have an extra special place in our hearts!
What a fun Spring engagement session! We started by walking throughout the Village Green and cute alleys of Fairhaven. Still early in the morning, it felt like we had the town to ourselves! We captured all the twinkle lights and cherry blossoms, then took a short trip to Chuckanut Drive for part two. Woodstock has trails full of greenery and gorgeous view of Bellingham Bay. We left with so many sweet options for their save the dates, and I'm excited to share my favorites here!
The team at Wander Design + Planning knew this riverside wildflower wedding was going to be a dream! When their clients chose not to have their day photographed, Wander reached out to book detail-specific photography. Their designs included bright juicy colors like chartreuse and terra cotta, a floral ground installation at the ceremony, multiple lounges, and pressed-flower cakes. I had the best time capturing these images, and though this blog is different than what I normally share, I'm so excited for you all to see this one!
Flat lays are a beautiful way to capture many of your special details in one photo! Today I'm sharing all of my tips for making it happen...
A couple of Anna and Riley's friends surprised them by booking rehearsal dinner photography. They knew there was no better wedding gift than photos of these special memories! I arrived to their backyard celebration before dinner, captured candids and spontaneous portrait requests, and then we went right into toasts shortly after everyone was seated. Their parents shared stories and thank you's, and loved ones performed ukulele as the sun set. Anna and Riley are two of the nicest people, and it was such a joy to spend some extra time with them before their wedding!
Anna and Riley shared a sunny July wedding at the Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham. They both have a love of boats and being out on the water, and this was the perfect waterfront venue to include that for all their friends and family. Some even boated to the wedding, giving us opportunities to use the marina for portraits. We had a big group, and everyone showed up ready to celebrate, laugh, and make memories. This made for great candids throughout the entire evening, and an incredible dance floor! This blog is an extra long one, and I'm happy to finally share so many of my favorites with you all!
