Laughter! Looking back through Karen and Jake's wedding images, that's theme I see running throughout their entire gallery. These two radiated joy all day long and surrounded themselves with people who were ready to celebrate that. They included autumn colors, board games, a private first dance, baseball on the big screen at cocktail hour, and Sour Patch Kids to snack on in between it all. Scroll through and take a peek at 300 of my favorite images!

After photographing their engagement and wedding, I had the absolute joy of having Mackenzie and Bryan back for a couple's maternity session! Bryan booked these photos as a surprise Christmas gift for Mackenzie, and it was such an honor to be included in another big event in their lives. We've known each other for a decade now, and they'll always have an extra special place in our hearts!
Lauren and Ben wanted a photographer who would preserve the bright, bold colors of their wedding day, and we had so much fun being a part of it all! They got married in July at Creekside Celebrations, a new wedding venue in Sedro Woolley, WA. It's a short drive off the freeway between Bellingham and Mount Vernon, and it was the perfect place to host their friends and family! Many loved ones spent the weekend camping on the property, enjoying the beauty of the creek and evergreen trees. The entire day was full of laughter and happy tears, and I'm so excited to finally share some of my favorites here with you all!
We carried on with this North Cascades couple session rain or shine! That choice gave us the entire lake to ourselves and a lighthearted, adventurous feeling in all their images. We spent their session laughing, giving big hugs, running around the beach, and even taking an unexpected leap into the water at the end. October leaves sprinkled the scenery with pops of orange, and I loved the way the layers of clouds connected all the distant hills together. Scroll through for some of my favorites!
Gracie and Ben got married in June at my favorite wedding venue, Christianson's Nursery! Their color palette fit perfectly alongside the garden's white and pink blooms, and we ended the evening with a golden sunset. They handmade flower pots for all their guests, and their sweet pup Larrie joined throughout the entire celebration. It was a beautiful day, and I'm so excited to finally share some of my favorites!
On a beautiful Spring evening, some of my top favorite Bellingham and Mount Vernon wedding vendors came together to create a joyful yellow styled shoot! And while it may have been just for fun, Kalia and Slater were just a month away from getting married for real. We could all feel their love and excitement as they exchanged rings and I-do's, and I hope you can see it in these photos, too! Saltbox Barn is a gorgeous venue in Mount Vernon, WA with multiple getting ready areas, a 1940s barn, and wide open views of Skagit County farmlands.

The gardens and greenhouses photograph beautifully and keep my clients warm and dry year-round. It's always special to be back at the place where we got married, and it brings me so much joy when couples choose me to capture their celebrations here, too. As I prep for my May mini sessions, I've brought together a handful of favorites from the past two seasons.
Michelle and Kris shared an intimate September garden wedding at Christianson's Nursery. Bellingham florist Tangled Roots created a unique color palette, and her arrangements tied the images from their day together so beautifully. Michelle and Kris used the pathway and front steps to the schoolhouse for their ceremony. When their officiant pronounced them married before they had a chance to exchange rings, they shared a great laugh with all of their guests. The ability to laugh and see things as a funny story to tell is the best recipe for a happy wedding, and everyone continued to smile about it all evening long. It's always a joy to be back in the space where we got married, and I am so excited to share my favorites from their celebration!
Violet and Tara arrived to their engagement session ready to laugh and have FUN! We spent the morning wandering through Christianson's Nursery, my favorite venue in Mount Vernon, WA. They let their personalities and silliness shine, and I had the best time getting to know them. I feel so lucky they chose me to be their photographer, and I cannot wait to be a part of their upcoming Bellingham wedding!
Lacey and Elliott got married at Christianson's Nursery on a sunny August afternoon. New safety precautions impacted their original wedding plans, but they couldn't imagine not getting married. Christianson's served as the perfect setting for their intimate ceremony. Between the blooming gardens, twinkle lights, and the floral décor, this Mount Vernon micro wedding looked anything but last-minute. We're looking forward to joining them again for their larger wedding celebration!
