Madison and Michael now live on the East Coast and are traveling across the country for a Pacific Northwest engagement and wedding! They both grew up here, and Larrabee State Park was the perfect place to capture the feeling of Washington. It was such a beautiful morning for their photos, and I can't wait to get them back in front of the camera for their upcoming wedding!

Danielle and Clay love spending time in the outdoors, so we drove up to Mount Baker to capture that sense of adventure in their engagement portraits! It was a gorgeous day at the end of September, and all of the bright reds and oranges really popped against the dreamy foggy sky. It makes me so happy to know they have these joyful photos together for their home and save-the-dates, and I can't wait for their Bellingham wedding later this year!
We carried on with this North Cascades couple session rain or shine! That choice gave us the entire lake to ourselves and a lighthearted, adventurous feeling in all their images. We spent their session laughing, giving big hugs, running around the beach, and even taking an unexpected leap into the water at the end. October leaves sprinkled the scenery with pops of orange, and I loved the way the layers of clouds connected all the distant hills together. Scroll through for some of my favorites!
Jessa and Brendan are getting married! They wanted to capture the last of the Fall colors at their November engagement session. We took a walk through a favorite park, included their pup for a few portraits, and popped a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Jessa and I both grew up in Kirkland, and it was so fun to meet Brendan and get to know them as a couple before their upcoming wedding!
Claire and Conner chose a two-location engagement session at two of their favorite parks in Bellingham, Boulevard and Whatcom Falls! We started along the boardwalk where Conner proposed, took a stroll through Fairhaven, and then drove across town. It was a foggy morning in early October, and the fall leaves added such a fun pop of color against the bay!
Patrick booked proposal photography as a surprise for Claire on their vacation to the Pacific Northwest! It was their first time to the San Juan Islands and a beautiful location to capture this special moment in their lives together. He and I created a plan together in advance, and it all went so well. She said yes, and I had so much fun witnessing their joy! We continued with the rest of their portraits, giving them plenty of time to chat and laugh as we walked to each spot. I'm beyond excited to finally share some of my favorites here with you all!
This Spring couple session included pops of yellow and one of my all-time favorite places! It's a little bit of a drive from the Bellingham area, but it's absolutely worth it. I love the combination of the beaches and steep green cliffs, and the way Eva's joyful outfits popped against it all!
Kate and Stephen chose a two-location session along Bellingham Bay for their engagement photos! Beginning shortly after sunrise on a Spring morning, we captured the beauty of the trees and water along Chuckanut Drive and their passion for biking at the pump tracks. This was such a fun way to celebrate their love for each other and the outdoors, and I'm so excited to photograph their wedding!
Gerald and I planned a surprise proposal and engagement session at Boulevard Park. He and Hannah were visiting Bellingham for the week, and he wanted the special moments captured on camera for her. After he proposed, I introduced myself and we took a walk through the boardwalk and Fairhaven. It was a beautiful memory, and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it!
Bellingham Engagement & Wedding Photographer; Flower Field Couple Photography: Madison & Jimmy2/6/2022 I've been photographing Madison and Jimmy since 2016! They both value documenting their lives through photos, and I've had the joy of photographing their engagement, wedding, one-year wedding anniversary, and a snowy couple session up on Mount Baker. Two of my longest clients and biggest supporters, it's been such a gift to get to know them over the years. This time around, they wanted a Bellingham sunset session in the flower fields. We captured these on a smoky August evening, and I love all the bright, golden colors in these images. Scroll to see my top favorites from their session!
