Chelsea and Andrew wanted a session near Mount Baker, a favorite place where they've spent time camping and canoeing together. We connected over Zoom first, and it was such a joy to learn more about them and the story of how they met years ago on an airplane. Adventure session require an adventurous attitude, and when our original locations ended up closed, we were stoked to find this expansive waterfront spot instead. Their pup Marley had the best time exploring for sticks, and it was so special to be able to include her. The rain downpoured at the end of the session, and Chelsea and Andrew did an incredible job embracing it. Originally, they planned to only book engagement photography and focus on videography for their wedding day. After receiving their engagement previews, they asked to book wedding photography too, and I couldn't be more excited to work with them again!

One year after their fall micro wedding, Megan and Joey booked a Bellingham Airbnb and an anniversary photography session to celebrate! We used the beach outside their rental, included their dogs Newton and Gordon for portraits, and then let them run and play in the water. They made such a fun trip out of it, including stopping by the bakery that made their wedding cake, and I love knowing that these photos will remind them of all it.
We celebrated Boo & Ky's engagement with a walk through two of their favorite spots in Bellingham, Fairhaven and Boulevard Park! I loved the special details they included and the variety of their outfits. They thoughtfully incorporated pieces from family, a handmade paper bouquet, a favorite comic book, and colors that they plan to include in their wedding. Scroll to see my favorites!
Mia & Berkly's engagement album will be twice special to look back on after their friends and family fill the pages with best wishes at their wedding! We took these photos to celebrate their choice to get married, and it's only fitting that these images be printed with the dual purpose of a guestbook at their wedding. If you've been looking for a practical excuse to order an album of your engagement photos, this is it! Pictured here is a sage linen cover and the new 8x8 size, available for portrait sessions and duplicate albums. View more album details, samples, and videos here!
Mia and Berkly celebrated their engagement with a two-location session at some of their favorite places in Bellingham. Pictured here is part one at Elizabeth Park. It was a rare sunny February afternoon, and I loved the golden light glowing through the trees. Can't wait to create a guestbook album with these images!
Nicole and Josh arrived to their engagement session ready to embrace an hour full of laughter and candid moments! Their ability to focus on each other, have fun, and not take the day too seriously led to genuinely joyful, happy images. Teddy Bear Cove was the perfect location choice for showing off the beauty of Bellingham, and I can't wait to photograph these two again at their wedding!
Since Rebecca and Thomas's wedding consult took place over video call, their engagement session gave us a great opportunity to meet in person and get to know each other better! We took a walk through Fairhaven (my favorite area of Bellingham) and then drove down the street to Woodstock Farm for a view of the sunset.
Hannah and Ashley were so fun to work with! We laughed a bunch, shared a few happy tears, and enjoyed a gorgeous Bellingham sunset from Marine Park and the Community Boating Center. I hope you all can feel the love in these!
